about

30 Accelerators is a collection of pieces generated by the AMS Composer software developed by AMS Chief Scientist Robert Baldock. The AMS Composer enables the generation of arbitrary sequences of notes based on the setting of 11 control parameters including number of fingers, hesitation, acceleration factor etc. The software can controol any MIDI-capable device. The unifying feature of these pieces, as might be deduced from the title, is that an accelerating pulse plays a part in every piece.
